 | "This large specimen is a very collectable form of selenite. This unique sphere was collected from the muddy Tundra in Manitoba, Canada. There is a very short period of time to collect these spheres in the summer months. The region where these special specimens occur is frozen 3/4 of the year. When it does thraw out, you have the added danger of severely deep mud. Wading in and out of the quagmire while protecting the delicate crystals and not getting stuck is by no means an awesome achievement.
